The hike down to Zinal

As we approached Zinal on this hike we heard a little click. Harold stepped back a foot and looked off to his left. Susan was ahead of Harold on the trail and stopped and turned around to look. Just in time to see a rock the size of a football shoot in front of Harold’s nose, fast like a projectile. If he had not stepped back that rock would have hit him in the head and it would have killed him. It was freaky, strange, and weird. It was a beautiful calm sunny day. What made that rock fall? It had gained tremendous speed by the time it reached us. It was something we both thought about a lot. What made Harold stop and step back and save his life?

By the time we get to Zinal, I can hardly walk, I am in so much pain, I can hike up all day, but hiking down is really difficult.
