|The New Zealand roads are incredible. They are almost all two lane. They are in excellent condition. There is very little traffic. And at every turn we are wow-ed by the scenery. The other vehicles are polite and good drivers. We had been warned about the tourists driving the small motor homes. The Kiwi's call them "Road Maggots" because they are white and wiggle all over the road. In fact, we see quite a few of them, but they are courteous drivers. Whoever built these roads, was obviously geared up with a compass, but was never given a ruler.
