|The dogs are all excited, just hoping they'll get picked to run!|
|Dave and Gerald have an unusual method of discipline for the dogs. They never hit them. But if the dog is not listening, they stop the sled, flip the dog over on it's back, and lay on them. If the dog really doesn't listen, they will nip it's ear! This is how mothers discipline the pups in the wild, so it's natural and humane to the dogs, and it works.
In between dog sled rides, there is a heated tent for us to warm up in. Jenafor supplies hot chocolate, and home made bread, made with the hearty prized Manitoba wheat, and home made jam using berries she picks herself around Churchill.
