Noumea to Malabou
So now we begin the Grande Tour de Caledonie. We switch back to riding on the right side of the road. Which surprisingly, feels wrong, and takes some getting used to. And while we have already established we are going to love the people, the food, and the weather here, we have also established that the French drivers, are going to take a little getting used to. Christine tells us they are a little "fou". Actually, we have already rated them as bad as the English, who previously held our title for being the worst. Now it's a tie.
Jack has loaned us his beautiful 1993 Harley Davidson Softtail Nostalgie. It's the only one of it's kind in New Caledonia. At the first toll we go through, the toll operator points out we are leaking gas. After an attempt at first aid by the guys, it is determined it needs to go in for professional help. We turn around and ride back to the Harley Davidson dealer in Noumea.
