Everyone stops to waive at us on the Harley's

We have gotten used to the Kanaks waiving and cheering about the Harleys riding through. But at one little town, several young men actually close off the street, causing Jean Michel to stop. At first we are not surprised. Jean Michel is chatting with them, we hear the words "Harley" and "Les Americaines", they all want to shake Harold's hand. Most of these teenagers/young men, have a machete in one hand and a beer in the other. That shakes me up a bit, and I forget to get my camera out. Later Jean Michele tells us that could have been trouble. The civil war was twenty years ago, but not all the hard feelings are gone.
